I come to bodywork and the healing arts from a deep appreciation of the human body, its amazing resilience and fragileness, its capacity for healing and change, as well as a passion for serving others in ways that directly impact their lives in positive ways.
My approach to our healing work together. The focus of my practice is influenced by what you want to experience from our work together, the variety of healing tools I have to work with, as well as other life experiences I have as an engineer, project manager, teacher, and chaplain. It is through the combination of these experiences that creates a results-oriented, approach for your
desired outcomes, while allowing space for intuition and listening for what is most needed in the moment. Education is integral in my approach as I am continually learning in the work I do and enjoy sharing information with you that you can use to support your health and well-being.
The skills and training I bring to your healing path. For the past twelve years I have studied and trained in a variety of healing modalities that includes: acupressure, massage, reconnective healing, yuen energetics, matrix energetics, and reiki. My massage training includes myofascial release, shiatsu, positional release, trigger point therapy, reflexology, swedish, cranio-sacral, and other approaches to address injury rehabilitation and treatment.
My personal experience with bodywork as a healing path. I have personally experienced many healing modalities because of my curiosity for various kinds of healing work, a passion for the connection of consciousness and the body, and my desire to experience greater balance and wholeness within my own being and life. One of the strongest influences in my desire to work with people in this way is because bodywork has been so central to my own personal development and healing on many different levels. I have experienced what profound changes can occur both in resolving physical pain as well as healing and expanding emotionally, mentally, and spiritually if that is what one desires.
